Our two aspirants, Louise and Mery, arrived at the Monastery the night before our 800thJubilee celebration on October 5, 2007 to spend a month inside the enclosure.
The purpose of the aspirancy is to allow the candidate to experience the life of a cloistered nun. The time within the enclosure helps her to discern whether she is called to serve God as a contemplative Dominican nun.
We continue to pray for all the young women who hear the voice of God. May they have the courage and the generosity to serve Him whole-heartedly for their sanctification and for the salvation of souls.
