MONASTERY'S BENEFIT ART SHOW
NOVEMBER 8-9, 2008
Our heartfelt thanks to many of our generous benefactors, family, and friends who came to support us with the art show; and our volunteers, Dr. and Mrs. Max Tarman, and Adelle Personini for volunteering their time to help us. The art sale was a great sucess which helped us to pay for the costs of renovating the Novitiate dormitory for our new Sisters in formation.
The show included the original art pieces done by our Sister Artists, beautifully framed photographs and Art of Illumination, music CDs sung by one of our talented Sisters, hand-made Rosaries, and a variety of homemade bread and English Toffee.
Our endless thanks to our art teacher, Joyce Barron-Leopardo who sacrifices so much of her time, resources and energy to teach us all we need to know about art works done with water color, oil, and acrylic. Joyce has instilled in us the appreciation for art and empowered us to use our skills for the glory of God.
May God reward each one with His choicest blessings and graces.
