First Mass of
Father Isaiah Mary Molano, O.P.
Saturday June 26, 2010
“The Lord called me from birth, from my mother’s womb he gave
me my name” (Is 49:1)
We are extremely proud and grateful to our young Dominican priests who were ordained on Friday June 25, 2010 at St. Dominic's Church in
San Francisco. The day following his Ordination, Father Isaiah Mary, O.P. came to celebrate his very first Mass for his Sisters whom he said were totally at fault for his
being ordained a priest. O such happy and blessed fault that gained for the Church and our Order a prayerful, generous and self-giving shepherd after the example of Christ, the Chief
Shepherd.
Father Isaiah Mary, O.P. was born in the city of Philadelphia and spent most of his life living in California. He attended the
University of California at Riverside with a major in Creative Writing, and is a recent graduate of Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology in
Berkeley, California.
He is currently assigned to work in campus ministry at the Catholic Community at Stanford located in California.
May God's abundantly blessings and graces be with Father Isaiah Mary as he begins his ministry and endless responsibilities to make
known the love Jesus Christ has for his flock, through his pastoral charity in his daily life as a priest. May the love of the Chief Shepherd continuously transform Father Isaiah Mary to
ultimately lay down his own life for the sheep.
May Mary, Queen of Preachers, Queen of Prophets and Queen Mother, to whom Father has consecrated his life and his priesthood, intercede for his everyday needs - that he may be made a worthy
icon of Christ, her Son.
DEO GRATIAS!
